I hate American Idol
Is anyone out there with me?? I mean seriously. I had to watch some of it with my neighbor- she loves it! I truly 100% freaking hate the show. It's everything about television and America that depresses me. It's a bunch of mediocre singers doing Karaoke to a slurring pill popper who is a has-been from the 80s, an angry disgruntled Brit who has no talent to name of and the ex guitar player from JOURNEY?????? WTF???? Yes little Melinda Doolittle and Little Jordan whatever her name is are cute and can sing. But seriously this show has GOT TO GO away. I like to believe in my mind that this whole Sanjaya thing is a reflection of America's smartening back up- that and the Democratic strong hold on the House and Senate. Maybe the whole voting for him as a sort of protest to the show is a representation of America's growing up. Sure its no more epic than a frat dude growing into a Wall Street Cocksucker but hey progress is progress and I take where I can! Does anyone else hate AI or am I alone on a snotty island?
Here are some things I am LOVING:
Tudors
PLanet Earth
Sopranos- finally g-d dammit last season
Entourage
L&O CI
October Road ( I am sorry- for some reason- I like it- I am embarressed!)
I hate American Idol too. You are not alone.
Wow, October Road. I know that guy is hot but ... geez. Well, we all have our embarassing shows. I actually am not really watching any TV lately. Not sure why.

I haven't seen any episodes, but been looking at the posters in the subway cars on my way home. Maybe it's just me but the male Actors seem way more better looking(or more 'sexed-up semi femmi-porn-star looking) than the female actors. Not a bad thing just out of the ordinary. How's things Danielle?

Oh Jason- you are so pleasantly out of it regarding pop culture- they are not actors- they are singers competing to be the next big pop singer. I definately do not think the boys are cuter than the girls. But thats the last on this - I will never waist my time watching it again! Things are good- how are you?
Tucker- its sorta funny in a.... I can not defend it- watch it once for me - this way if you get hooked we can be rejects together.

No, no ,no! I was talking about the subway adverts for Tudors. I guess I forgot to put the subejct before the predicate in my last comment. Good luck on those film contests!
